rim-logo.jpgThe Telecoms Korea has reported that Research In Motion, who is very much and frequently involved in legal action, is again going to be back in legal issues.

The maker of the BlackBerry line of messaging smartphones has filed suit against Samsung for infringing on the company’s trademark by releasing its new BlackJack handset in the US.

The suit was filed in the US Federal Court in Los Angeles, and claims that the Samsung BlackJack name is too close to RIM’s BlackBerry trademark.

Both devices are messaging focused smartphones, with most of RIM’s Blackberry line being equipped with QWERTY keyboards, something that they share in common with the BlackJack.
